One service we provide is a Private Consultation, where a modified developmental assessment is given. This assessment takes a quick glance at how an individual is functioning based on:

  • Gross motor ability - an indication of organization at different levels of the brain
  • Auditory Processing - short-term memory, reasoning skills, time-management, etc.
  • Dominance - long-term memory, logic, emotional stability

If you want to skip the consultation and just go ahead and get started, we have a program called Quick Start for Mature Adults eBook. This is an online, generic brain-training program for anyone age 50+ who would like strengthen or improve current function. If you would like to improve your balance, short-term memory, or perhaps you may have reading struggles, then this program is for you. "On a beautiful February day a few years ago, I had a left thalamic stroke, which affected my right side. To recover from the stroke, I wrote my own program and followed it on a daily basis for months with help from my precious husband and friends. I fully recovered from that stroke and decided that I could help others by creating a program like the one I followed. That is why this Post Stroke Program is available for you today."

From that full evaluation, we create a customized, in-home program of daily physical exercises, tactile activities and processing activities to stimulate the maturation of the central nervous systemhelping you to overcome any of the struggles mentioned above.

Progress will be monitored in intervals of four months, where you will return for a follow-up evaluation and the same developmental assessment will be given. At the follow-up evaluation, new exercises and activities will be given according to your progress. You will receive personal client support for the duration of your program. For best results, we recommend that you stay on this treatment for a minimum of two years.

It is much easier to prevent problems than it is to correct them!

For instance, it is much easier to help prevent someone from falling than it is to heal broken bones.

For mature adults, we offer three services to help you begin your brain-training journey.
